A Trip To New York
It all started on a trip to New York City to visit friends during New Years. My brother and some friends started playing a game where one of us would say a word, then the next person would say a related word. We played this for hours!
The Long Trip Home
On the drive home, I couldn’t stop thinking about this game we’d been playing. I start thinking about how fun it would be as a card game.
The First Protoype
After putting it off for a few months, I hunkered down and created the first edition of Rabbit Trails. I ordered a single copy and tested it out on family and friends. We took it to a local hang out and strangers walking by saw how much fun we were having and ended up jumping in to the game and asking where they could buy it!
Kickstarter FTW!
I researched where to get Rabbit Trails made, created a Kickstarter campaign, shared with everyone that I could and SUCCESS – thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and strangers I raised enough to get the first run printed!
